The True Meaning of Friendship

True friendship can still be found...
<-->
It's behind you, just behind you...
<-->
This summer, I got to join the exclusive DLSU CCS 2005. The first day was pretty much exciting. I was placed inside a class containing almost a hundred people. We were divided into different teams. It was time to introduce ourselves. I told them about myself and we easily became friends. There was more to come, or so I think.
<-->
One day, I, along with my teammates, went out to Chowking to lunch. That morning, I accidentally forgot to ask for my daily allowance from my mom. Luckily, I was the first one to order my lunch at the counter. I told myself, "A hundred and twenty pesos should be enough."
<-->
I waited patiently for my official receipt. When I finally got it, I was totally shocked. The total cost was one hundred and twenty-seven pesos. I immediately searched inside my pockets. There was no coin to be found. "Uh, oh..."
<-->
Being a quick thinker, I looked for friends who would help me in this type of situation. "It's only seven pesos, anybody would have that amount. I'll just pay him or her tomorrow." Thank goodness, there was one willing to help me. She was behind me all along.
<-->
Until now, I never did have a chance to repay her. Maybe later, maybe tomorrow. I still have to return to her what I owe. She was a true friend. A friend who will be there in times of trouble. I'm glad that I got to meet her.

Invictus

Which team will win?
Lemon Yellow is the team!
L-E-M-O-N
Y-E-L-L-O-W
<-->
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
<-->
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
<-->
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
<-->
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Invictus, a poem by William Earnest Henley. It represents our determination to win. Although there are many teams ahead of us...

Let's just see...
